Build a portfolio that explains your decisions

Start with the decision

A useful portfolio explains the problem, the constraint, and the decision you made. Lead with the moment where your contribution changed the outcome.

Show enough process

Use two or three artifacts that support the story: an early direction, the evidence that changed it, and the final result. Explain what each artifact proves.

End with evidence

State what shipped, what improved, and what you would change next. If metrics are private, describe the signal without inventing a number.
